Please remember, the electorates for the folks in the Rust Belt cast their votes for Trump in the last election. This is a demographic that historically votes democrat. So, by making blanket statements of the ilk “Anyone who voted for Trump is stupid” and “Anyone who voted for Trump is a racist bigot”, these statements also apply to a demographic who voted for Obama both times.

These are Americans who hold similar values to you. They weren’t stupid racist bigots before and they aren’t now.
