We, the people who live with the challenges and triumphs of mental health issues and needs, will no longer ask for permission to create the services and solutions we know we need to make our lives successful and joyful.

This promise to the community speaks to the many, many, many peer focus groups Razzie and I have held over the last four years. It is a culmination of frustration and hope, it is peers empowering peers, it is peers empowering themselves.

Peers will collaborate where collaboration is beneficial, and peers will side-step hindrances that keep us from achieving all that we want for ourselves and our loved ones.

Wind it up and watch it go.
