I had a Boingo poster up on eBay for $100.

This dude in NJ sent a message:

“Boingo posters sell for $30 to $40. I want to buy you want to sell let’s make this happen.”

I told him the price is firm and I’m not in any hurry to sell.

“There’s nothing wrong with the capitalism, there’s nothing wrong with free enterprise.”

He bought it at $100 saying it better be in mint condition. The listing said “used from record store window display.” Lots of accompanying photos.

“It’s just a fool’s paradise, it’s just a fool’s paradise.”

He got the poster and sent a message about the condition problems and how he just couldn’t keep the poster without a deep discount. He recommended $30 to $40.

“They say you’re stupid, that you’re too young to vote, they say you’ll swallow anything that they shove down your throat.”

I had the poster listed as “no returns” because of this guy. For funsies.

“Now is that gratitude for everything I’ve done.”

My listing was detailed for condition, including those many accompanying photos, so when he complained of fraud to eBay he was sent home crying.

“Cry for me, darling, let me taste your tears.”

He tried to leave me negative feedback and eBay deleted it for me.

“Don’t try to make me feel guilty, I’m so tired of hearing you whine.”

Sweetest. $100. Boingo. Poster. Sale. Ever.
