There’s a cool story to go with this gig flyer. Before the Jimmy Eat World gig in Flagstaff, Arizona, I was off in search of batteries for my camera and snagged the gig flyer from a telephone pole. Turning the corner, I run into Jim Adkins, lead singer and songwriter for Jimmy Eat World. We talked for a while and when parting ways I asked if we could take a snap.

Just then I dropped the gig flyer

and Jim scooted after it as it blew away. He stomped on the flyer and that very light, incomplete shoe tread is Jim’s.

What a goofy piece of paraphernalia.
