This entire ordeal of a politician denying sexual wrongdoing is not a new development. In the span of most of our lifetimes we witnessed a president being impeached lying under oath.

At the time, I laughed myself raw when a Sunday morning talking head apologist stated on TV, “To be president, you need to have large appetites in all aspects of life.”

T’was hilarious on so many levels . . . the statement, not the lying. I suppose it goes with the territory.
