I’m reminded of Johnny Cash and Folsom each time a woke Proggie attempts discrediting the “Small Town” song because Aldean didn’t grow up in a small town nor lives in a small town. Because metaphors and fairy tale lyrics are renowned for being 100% literal and real.
Ewwwww……. That’s exactly what a man with toxic masculinity defending the patriarchy would say. Eewwwewwewew…..
The “Small Town” song is popular and successful, bolstered by Americans fed up with woke censorship. The Bud Light boycott is successful and winning, bolstered by Americans fed up with woke infecting just everything. Americans pushing back against the woke disease is the New Normal. Get used to it.
#anticensorship
Epilogue: Squelch that reflex to tell me I don’t know what woke is and I can’t use woke per my definition. Because you’ll be proving my point about woke censorship.
I feel horrible. I ran over a cat driving home tonight.
To be fair, the cat thought it reached safety once it got through the garage and into the laundry room.
Exciting times. Posts on the dismantled Twitter were called “tweets.” What will posts be called now?
Being frank, for me “tweets” sounded stupid from the start. Elon is scouring out all the annoying stuff, from “tweets” to woke censorship.
What a lovely site to behold. I applaud Elon moving forward from the murky history of Twitter censorship. Without updating the name and logo there would always be a callback to the woke censorship of Twitter 1.0. So long once and for all, Twitter censorship. Glad to meet you, X!
The new theme park being developed in Oklahoma will replace the Disney parks as the “go to” destination for traditional American family values. Disney had a good run of it.
Culling activists from corporate culture is the new normal. It can be voluntary like with Twitter 2.0 or it can be thrust upon the company like AB InBev.
Being 100% honest, forthright, and transparent, after five years of trying to train myself to remember, just go on the presumption I’m not going to remember pronouns. In trade, I won’t get bent if you don’t remember the names of my pet rabbits.
Once fear of cancellation ends, so does any authority woke holds over us.
I’m anti-censorship. A large share of my social activism is dedicated to battling any person and entity that promotes, supports, and forces censorship upon Americans.
Any other accusations of “anti-this” and “that-phobic” are false. I’m anti-censorship only. That’s the full extent of it. Anti-censorship.
Remember, Bud Light did this and the fate of their employees is ENTIRELY the responsibility of the company and not one bit the responsibility of the permanently-lost consumers.

These self-identity causes, why is it so important to receive validation from people who will never agree with the cause? Any semblance of validation from them is an insincere lie. Best to look inward for validation and not waste effort trying to convince the unconvincible.
Agreed. Just the halo effects are an econ class gold mine. What a fascinating historical event Bud Lighting is.

What I like most about petroleum, natural gas, and coal is my geology friends have jobs because of petroleum, natural gas, and coal. Use more, not less. Support American jobs, support Americans.
Much of the culture war content rightfully being removed from public school curriculum is best suited for parents to teach their children themselves. It’s called family values and these are the responsibility of the child’s family. This really should go without saying.

Woke public school teachers speak openly of their “duty” to override a child’s family values. If the child’s parents don’t think what woke thinks and if the child’s parents don’t believe what woke believes then woke teachers decide the child’s parents are failures and are hiding the truth from their child.
Their child.
That woke public school teachers feel duty-bound to indoctrinate and mislead children not their own is despicable and wrong. These teachers must be removed and never allowed to teach children ever again. These teachers are dangerous.
I don’t have to respect your ideals, goals, words, and beliefs if I don’t value your ideals, goals, words, and beliefs.
A friend is relentless in badgering me to go “full electric” with my home. I prefer two available energy sources, even if my gas appliances are murdering the planet. I’ll live with the enviro-guilt. That is all.
I’m confident each and every person now wokey-offended by the video location immediately recognized by personal first sight the Maury County courthouse. I’m equally confident that by long held personal knowledge each and every wokey-offended person knew immediately of a specific lynching nearly a century ago.
I’m confident each and every wokey-offended person is truly enraged and genuinely disgusted, and these wokey-offended people aren’t just reflexively virtue signaling after given their newest wokey-offended assignment and companion wokey-offended rhetoric.
I’m confident of this.
There are women who mistake being abrasive, rude, and crass as the same as being a “strong woman.” These women then assert “men are intimidated by strong women.” Not so. Men rightfully will date a woman who is kind and pleasant, which is true strength of character. Men aren’t intimidated by strong women. We are turned off by someone insufferable.
In my dreams, I come up with really cool status updates. In the conscious world, I come up with crap like this.
What did women do that so torqued off proggies that women are no longer a protected class for social justice?
Ten years from now I envision bringing up Bud Lighting in any number of conversations. Perhaps as a fond memory of that wonderful moment when woke ceased to matter, perhaps as a cautionary tale to what happened when woke was allowed to exist unchecked, or perhaps as a jaunty “told you so” refrain to those who continue insisting it’s overreaction over one little ol’ harmless can.
The Bud Light-Mulvaney Disaster, never to be forgotten.
The author insinuates the women’s team was holding back and threw the game.
Bullshit. A sports team on an international level performs to top ability. A sports team on an international level plays to win.
Throwing the game is a score of 3 – 2. 5 – 2 is a blowout. I’ve played soccer since a wee lad and at 5 – 2 the escalating humiliation hints at invoking the “Mercy Rule.”
The takeaway is even shortly after puberty male human beings have a physical advantage over female human beings. Stop lying. This is fact.

Proclaiming “I guess we have to agree to disagree” is a wafer-thin jab at censorship. You don’t decide for me what I agree to and when I’ve completed my ranting. Be honest. Proclaim “I don’t agree with you and I am done arguing with you.” Own your frustration and never speak on my behalf. And stop hitting on me, I’m not asking you to prom.
When it comes to the war on censorship, I’ll punch any direction required to end the assault on our divine right to freedom of expression. Any foe is fair play regardless of contrived victim class. Censorship makes victims of all Americans.
That there isn’t a tinder competitor specifically for New Mexicans called “New Sexico” is a striking oversight.
What’s the harm in being more inclusive? There is no harm in being more inclusive. However, what you are calling inclusive is the opposite of inclusive and what you are calling inclusive is very harmful.
All sorts of instructions on why and how to be considerate of others’ feelings out there. I think I’ll just go about living my life instead and trust others to manage their emotions without my contrived interference.

Because you hate what’s being said doesn’t make it hatespeech. Own your emotion.
It’s common to hear “It’s okay to be racist as long as it’s against whites.” This is typically an epitaph pointing out hypocrisy or double standard or both.
What isn’t common to hear is a reply of “No, all racism is unacceptable, including against whites.”
We should all be saying this often.
