“Woke” can mean different things to different people. This is the most base tenet of identity politics and “woke” itself, that a person can make up a definition to an established word and demand of others to accept this as true. Often, this is done to validate a person’s feelings at risk of the taken word losing meaning by having no universally agreed upon definition. This loss of meaning is also a tenet, that of Orwellian Newspeak.

Championing American logic and common sense, I encourage everyone to invent your own definition of “woke” with the aim of making the word and concept 100% meaningless. This supports the growing collaborative of Americans fed up with DEI and ESG intruding upon our life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Let’s rebrand “woke” so broadly and completely that “woke” falls from the national dialogue for better and forever.

What is my definition of “woke”?

Woke: Censorship and discrimination using bullying and threat of social demise to silence dissenting American voices.

This is a valid definition because by “woke” tenet a word can mean different things to different people and all definitions are true simultaneously. But done correctly, there will be no “woke” tenets because through our concerted efforts “woke” will have sublimated into nonexistence. There’s still time to reclaim American logic and common sense.
