Representative Matt Gaetz is nominated for Attorney General by President Elect Donald Trump. Interesting choice by Trump. Gaetz is best known on the national stage for leading the coup that ousted Speaker McCarthy. This required him to collaborate with House Democrats (who unanimously voted to oust McCarthy, of course) and to convince enough House Republicans to defect for a majority.
So we know he can work across the aisle. Snicker.

Gaetz always looked like Cabbage Patch Elvis or a mid-80’s televangelist to me. Beyond the superficial appearance, I don’t know enough about him to render an opinion on his worthiness. Yet. And I’m uncertain if Trump has a strategy or if he’s simply trolling House Republicans . . . which aren’t mutually exclusive.
Interesting, nominating Gaetz. And if you, as a leftist, are going to use investigations and allegations to try to disqualify him just know the me also movement is pretty much extinct already.
