Having more education than another is not the same as being more intelligent than another. This is a common mistake of credentialism, believing logic and knowledge is dependent upon formal instruction capped with an official validation ceremony. How was know-how and expertise determined prior to universities and government bureaucracy? By proving it, by taking logic and knowledge and making stuff work using this logic and knowledge.

When choosing collaborators in my projects I ask questions using my knowledge and experience to gauge a potential partner’s knowledge and experience. Any education credential is secondary because anyone can pass tests and fulfill course credits. Any dummy can get an education. The credential proves only this.
