Imperialism and colonization happens and has for eons. Around the entire world, how far back do we go to theoretically correct what is deemed pilfered and wronged? Is there an internationally agreed upon statute of limitations for undoing the appropriation of occupied lands and acquired natural resources?

100 years? 200 years? 1000 years? 2000 years? 10,000 years? Aside from Africa, all humans on all continents are non-indigenous. We migrated everywhere and planted a flag and getting there first really isn’t the measure. So what’s the statute of limitations?
These are good questions posed to humanity at large with the understanding it’s human nature for humans to oppress other humans. It’s a pragmatic reality of who has the might to take territory and who has the strength to keep anyone else from taking it. And, really, why would conquerors ever surrender territory to the conquered? Pragmatic reality, because imperialism and colonization happen.
