Make no mistake. Incessantly flogging Trump as the equivalent of Hitler is a main factor in why the Democrat party is losing political races across the board. The American people have spoken, the American people rebuked, and the American people demand accountability for the outright lies. Our vote is our mandate.
So what are leftist pundits doing? Doubling down on the very rhetoric that cost Dems both the presidency and the legislature. One talking head on Piers Morgan said (closely but not exactly) “We can’t stop reporting the truth, no matter if he won or not. Americans need to know what Donald Trump really is.”
Dude. What aren’t you getting? You are not the gatekeeper on truth or fact. The best measure of reality is despite every character fault you hammer on about, the American people already know this about Trump and are obviously okay with it. So what’s the truth here? What do the facts tell us?
The American people don’t see Trump as Hitler and the American people aren’t afraid of the lie he’ll end our republic.
Go ahead and keep flogging that losing narrative for another four years, all the way to the next election. The leftist establishment can double and triple and quadruple down on the narrative of their failure, but the election is over and the American people have rejected the lie for exactly what it is.
Learn or don’t learn, it doesn’t matter anymore. We’re moving forward with our country and our future. We’d really like for everyone to move forward together in unity.
A couple of points to share.
- Some leftist pundits are claiming “Now, hold on a minute, I personally never called him Hitler. I only said he is a racist, a fascist, and an existential threat to democracy.” Sure. I personally never gaslit myself. I only gaslit myself.
- To those of you continuing to call Trump a fascist existential threat to democracy (aka “Hitler”), please recognize by calling Trump a Nazi dictator you are also calling the majority (not half) of Americans who voted for him Nazis as well. Yes. You are.
Ditch the Hitler rhetoric. Let’s move forward together.
