Unless there is a way to swap out the battery on an EV for a fully charged battery in the roughly same amount of time as it takes to fill my tank with powerful, dependable gasoline, there is zero chance I’ll ever choose an EV because I like my convenience much more than pandering to mathematically unsupported climate doomsaying.

I know. The article title makes little sense. It sounds clever and profound, just like climate doomsaying science. But it’s not. It’s not clever and profound, or even meaningful.

Please recall I’ve done paleoclimatology coring and oxygen stable isotope analysis. And, I can abstract beyond 150 years of sketchy weather data to achieve statistically valid conclusions. And please recall a computer model can predict nothing because that’s what makes a model a model.

You see, to those who wager on rhetorical arguments over understanding the topic, just know eventually you’ll run into someone who knows what they’re talking about and your rhetoric is nothing more than the language of fools.

And you thought I’d just be poking fun of the inconvenience of EVs. Nope. I’ve got one specific person in mind. Yes, Denny. You. We took the same classes but you were too interested in proving a point using the data and not allowing the data to reveal the point.
