I’ll lay odds Elon doesn’t use Tesla EV lithium batteries in his Space X rockets. Space is a bad place for battery to explode and burn for 20 hours. And to those who say, “The battery can’t burn without oxygen, goodsir,” learning the chemistry of why an EV battery burns so hot for 20 hours is useful. The qualitative explanation is a burning EV battery produces its own oxygen. Whatever oxygen available for priming the pump is theoretically all that’s necessary.
EV technology is proven unsafe, and after two years discussion with colleagues in lithium and REE exploration and extraction, and applying data to woke EV projections, I’ve quantifiably and factually decided EVs are a poor use of our mineral resources going forward. Promoting additional vehicle fuel options is a new advocacy hobby for me.
The EV experiment is over and the EV can never be what is hoped and promised. This is fact based upon mineral material extraction parameters. Time to explore other energy options and allow EVs to be a quaint historical novelty.
The EV advocates push hard with bad science. Realistic advocates now push back with good science. We can ill afford to waste mineral resources on an unsustainable dead end.
Confession: I know Space X uses Tesla batteries. I just want to see if proggies try using the bait attempting to discredit my entire argument.
