Leftists turned the Overton Window into the Overton Paradox. By championing identity politics in the name of diversity, equity, and inclusion, the range of political acceptance was narrowed to leftist defined victim classes benefiting from Democrat sanctioned privileges for the few at the expense of constitutional American rights for all. The ideal of the Overton Window is to include and broaden diverse political ideologies. The leftist Overton Paradox is necessarily exclusive and opposite by using identity politics as the measure of ideological breadth.
