The United States recruited former Nazi scientists like Wernher von Braun because even though he designed rockets to attack our allies his skills served our interests in our post-WWII technology race with the USSR. An enemy to an ally, and we looked the other way not because Wernher didn’t do horrible things but because it served our current goals. It’s forgiveness borne of practical necessity.

I think we can extend the same courtesy to Mark Zuckerberg. Sure, he censored the hell out of us and collaborated with the government entities who continue striving to codify censorship, but if he’s hiring PR firms to reach out to conservatives, I say we levy bygones and accept Zuck as our ally. Zuck turning on the Kamala-Biden censorship cabal serves our practical necessity.

Bygones, Zucker von Mark. Bygones.
