I’ve just now endured a twenty minute pseudo-academic and not-at-all interesting one-sided conversation I didn’t ask to have about how plants can feel pain and how plants have emotions and how agriculture is the “Unseen Holocaust.”

To end the conversation, a simple statement was needed. Got it.

“It’s their own fault for evolving roots. Tough to run away with roots.”
