Preamble to a Manifesto.

Arguably, the United States of America is perceived as at our weakest in the last half century. That our international rivals have only floated a big balloon over our sovereign lands is so very fortunate for us. China’s “spy” balloon could’ve easily carried a simple tactical nuke, with several DAYS to drop it. China was “spying” on our response. They got their datum. Weakness.

And imagine if it was instead ten balloons. Or twenty. Or one hundred. Balloons are low-tech, and the materials to create a balloon and the helium to fill a balloon are incredibly inexpensive.

Ask the question: In the last 50 years, would China have dared invade our sovereign air space in such a (for us) humiliating manner? To no response or counter response? And for that matter, would Russia have dared be so openly aggressive on the world stage? And for that matter, would our international partners be so openly laughing at us (check out Sky News)?

Arguably, the United States of America is at our weakest in the last half century. And although orchestrated efforts were made to create a single party political and economic governance (aka communism), this coup failed and we Americans retain the capacity to vote out weakness and embrace national resolve, purpose, direction, pride, patriotism, and strength. It’s never too late to turn our errors into wisdom and regain our strong reputation in the hearts and minds of our rivals and partners.
