I’ve asked my closest friends to keep an eye on their grandparents because I’ve been naughty and rebellious, instigating group hugs with strangers at the grocery store and none of us are wearing masks. Many of us held hands as we shopped for hand sanitizer. There might have been some making out in the parking lot before parting ways. And tomorrow we all go back to work at the movie theater where most likely we’ll make out some more while serving delicious buttered popcorn with our bare hands.
For grandparents everywhere, the end is nigh.
