During the Persian Gulf War, the Iraq War, Hurricane Katrina relief, the C19 forced lockdown, and even in the aftermath of 9/11, with every broadcast the first words out of the faceholes of Collusive Propagandist Media journalists was the daily death count. How many American bodies tallied was the most crucial piece of information to report. My Dad said news reporting during the Vietnam War suffered the same indignity.

While it’s a humanitarian (and leftist politicized) crime of ommision Collusive Propagandist Media (aka “legacy media”), refuses to cover the human tragedy and human inspiration of Americans in the wake of Hurricane Helene, there is an upside to their obvious inattention that has citizen journalism on X taking the lead. From these citizen journalists the stories we’re receiving from Appalachia are firsthand stories of sorrow, loss, innovation, community, charity, recovery, rebuilding, strength, sacrifice, giving, and inspiration.

But no daily death count. At all. Those we lost with prayers will be found and properly laid to rest. But those we lost isn’t what matters most. It’s the Americans who lived and their communities that matter most.

Just like how the Americans of WNC and surrounding Appalachia completely saved themselves and circumvented bureaucratic federal inaction, citizen journalists have taken upon themselves to report the facts, truth, and reality in the most humanistic way I’ve ever witnessed from a disaster area. Just like they did circumventing FEMA, these Americans bypassed Collusive Propagandist Media to report directly to America without political agenda and manipulation.

Without Collusive Propagandist Media in the way telling us how horrible the tragedy is day after day, what we get from citizen journalists are the facts of roads being cleared by Americans, water wells being drilled by Americans, emergency river crossings being constructed by Americans, the power grid being rebuilt by Americans, relief goods and distribution being organized by Americans, and thousands of volunteers from around the country and even around the world independently mobilized to help in every way possible.

We’re getting the positive humanitarian reality on the ground in Appalachia, free from negative Collusive Propagandist Media infection. From tragedy comes hope. And from tragedy comes epiphany.

Americans don’t need federal bureaucracy to fulfill their needs after a natural disaster. And Americans don’t need Collusive Propagandist Media to bring awareness to their needs after a natural disaster. In Appalachia in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene we’ve proven we do so much better and we’re so much more successful without either.

So it’s a good thing FEMA was late to the game and it’s a good thing Collusive Propagandist Media refuses to report on this massive humanitarian catastrophe. Without these unnecessary, useless “middle men” intruding, the reality of the American Spirit and American resilience couldn’t be suppressed. The true nature of our republic and our people is fully revealed and is fully celebrated.

I’ve got such strong confidence America’s best days are ahead of us. I haven’t felt this way in a long time.
